What I like about Melissa and Doug is the toys are mostly all wooden (with the occasional plastic or metal or cloth where need be), educational without all the sounds or lights of other toys, and they put the age appropriate right on the package!

We have great sales during the year, especially during November and December, to stock up for holidays, birthdays or just every day gift giving!
